Hi, I’m Courtney
I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Texas in 2017 as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Baylor University in 2014. Throughout my educational and professional career, I have had the opportunity to serve as a crisis counselor, an advocate for victims of violent crimes and domestic abuse, a case manager for individuals experiencing homelessness, and as an Art Therapy facilitator for adults and adolescents in residential treatment. These roles provided me with experience counseling individual adults and adolescents as well as families and couples from all walks of life. Outside of the therapy room, you can typically find me enjoying live music, picnicking at the park, cross-stitching, exercising, or binge-watching Netflix

People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself
saying, Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner. I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as
it unfolds. – Carl R. Rogers
